<<<NEWS>>>

In fact, great news!

WINDOWS 98 IS OUTSELLING WINDOWS 95!!!

In the current issue of TIME magazine (page 84)...there's a little
ditty entitled WINDOWS 98 ALREADY A HIT that reads:

"Here's one more reason why you shouldn't believe everything you read: despite modest sales predictions, Windows 98 is flying off store shelves. Research firm IDC had predicted that the new edition, widely considered a minor maintenance upgrade to the ubiquitous Windows 95 operating system, would sell a third fewer copies than its predecessor in its first year. But IN ITS FIRST SIX DAYS ON SALE (STARTING JUNE 25), WINDOWS 98 HAD SOLD MORE COPIES THAN WINDOWS 95 IN THE SAME PERIOD. So much for the experts."

Also included with the above text is a bar graph entitled "98 BY A NOSE"...which shows Windows 98 selling 627,000 copies in the first six days compared to 620,000 of Windows 95 when it was released.

Now...while the true effect of Windows 98 will not be factored in this quarter's earnings due out this Thursday...it is certainly very promising and will likely put a positive spin on future earnings.

Very exciting news, indeed!!!

Hope all is having a great weekend.
