Part of my early DD on DGIV was to personally visit the SEC and find out if they had anything derogatory on DGIV. They did not. But I did have some interesting conversations with the enforcement unit about illegal shorting and those who use the internet to scare investors into selling, so they can cover. The SEC is very interested in these tactics, and has a special unit set up to monitor this activity. As a government agency, they are not the quickest to act, but when they do, they can be nasty.
