With a full time job, it's difficult if not impossible to keep up on the 180+ posts on this
thread during the mkt week, much less keep track of rumors. I personally think EGGS
should stay away from Amazon.com.

Dwight,

This use to be a slow thread meaning not that many posts. I am having the same problem as you keeping up. That is a full time job in itself and I am not helping the matter any.

Btw, we might want to be careful of what we say re
Amazon accounting practices -- unless there is some proof.

The proof was in their recent 10Q and 10K and I posted the parts that state this is the case in a unconventual fashion. That post or posts is on here about a month ago. I also posted that on TMF on AOL and even the bullish TMF owners agreed those expenses were in marketing. The TMF people justified the accounting irregularity with some explanation as to why these expenses hould be in marketing. I would repeat or summarize their explanation but candidly, I did not understand it.
