Joining Verifone (now Hewlett Packard) in 1992, Mr. Bertman served as a senior officer in marketing, Internet commerce, business development and network systems. His accomplishments included the development of new business opportunities through acquisitions and strategic alliances. Mr. Bertman was also instrumental in executing key strategic relationships with prominent Internet companies to establish distribution channels and integrate technology. He was previously Vice President of marketing for Ungermann-Bass where he had worldwide responsibility for all marketing of its enterprise networking company.
