Big Dog, Watch the Nigerian Military Government closely! They have to do (and do it soon!) what they have not been able to do for thelast 40 years-and that is give up power and let the southerners live like they want to live. The Northerners' dream in Nigeria is to turn every Nigerian into a Muslim. Problem is that the 56% of the population base in the south do not want to be Muslims. They have to give up their dream in order to move to a Civilian Government! I'm betting that they do not have the discipline to do it! (Note: The above analysis is a bit simplistic- some southerners are Muslims in the Yoruba; and in the North their is a large and growing minority of Hausa who are giving up Islam and converting to Christianity particularly amongst the women. But by and large the Yoruba are Christians and the Hausa are Muslims; the Ibo are 100% Christian and the Fulani (the Tribe from which most Government officials come from) are 100% Muslim. the British Colonial Authorities in their own indominatbly stupid ways wanted to create a Country in 1947 that was ungovernable- and they did just that!).....
