Yousef, RE "AMD is 2-3yrs behind Intel in IC process
technology and this won't change anytime soon ... In fact, it will get worse as AMD has to cut back on capital spending/R&D."

I would love to understand what Process Technology means, so I can understand how you can quantify the amount of years AMD is behind Intel.

Is it a limitation due to the types of machines or tools that AMD can purchase to use in their manufacturing process? Or is it "trade secrets" used in the process of making the processors while using comparable types of tools.

Thanks in advance....Dave
