Susan, Thanks for your response--I appreciate it. Well, I guess that clears it up. I am curious about something, though. I see you've been a member since 1996. Do you mean to say that when you click on Messages \| "To Me" that you get a list of every Private Message you've received since 1996? That would seem to be too many and SI users would complain. Also, it's interesting that my Messages \| "From Me" does drop off my private messages after a certain period of time (it looks to be about three weeks). This is not earthshaking stuff, so you don't have to reply, but it does seem odd to me that the folders "To Me" and "From Me" should have different rules for retaining private messages. Regards, Chris
