<<<<Quick question, can anyone think of a reason why shareholders would NOT vote for a stock split at the annual?? Does this hurt them somehow??>>>>
Dell management can implement a split anytime without shareholder approval, but must have the shares in the kitty to cover the split.
Dell doesn't mess around with them, splits are often effective 7
days after the decision is made and announced.
