Ben,

I understand that 70 to 75 is a most happy number for the MMs. But like a bad trade, you can feel like you have won if you get out even. Would the MMs be happy getting out even on this one?

The Max-Pain July'98 finalized Max-Pain options analysis graphs are available for viewing.

All of the July'98 put contracts went out worthless as the stock price rose $6.75 during the week to close at $94 7/8. The July'98 covered call writers will be feeling the pain this month.

Earnings report months seem to be too volatile for Max-Pain to be a good indicator at these times.
