With bad news from Taiwan and Japan, I say that AMAT will see $15, if not immediately ( week or so ), then sometime in the fall. It hit close to $10 in 1996. The conditions right now are much worse. Look at the monthly chart. It could even go to $12, unless something magical happens to improve things in the far east soon.According to most people in the know, the semi industry will not bottom till late next year. The reason AMAT is where it is today is because of its stature and not so much because of the fundamentals. They misjudged the extent of the downturn.
Any friendly comments and discussion are most welcome.

Best wishes
Robert
