Tide - The way the pre-Holiday Effect is gauged is really as a buy-and-hold mentality. The only one I have had a little problem reconciling was with Presiden'ts Day this year, as all previous data was for Washing or Lincoln's Birthday. however, since the brunt of the asian news was hitting about then, I figured it had more to do with that than the combination of those two days into the new holiday.

The best holidays for buying on the two previous days are generally New Years, Christmas and July 4th, in that order. I will try to post the list for the whole year shortly, and then just reference it as the holidays come.

Jeff - I have Communicator 4.05, plus I also tried it from a Mac and IE. I did a source check on the site and found no reference to a sound file of any kind.
