...and you seem to be fixated on your premise, too.

AOL got out of the pipes business. They are an online community. They will buy content. They will provide web portal services. They will strike wholesale deals for access, like with Worldcom. Pipes will take care of themselves.

BTW, this argument, or a variation of it, has been floating around here since AOL stock was in the 20's.
