..."Shoot out"????? This is an American term - either from American soccer or from the Wild West. <g> Please, no penalty kicks, either!!!!! I will confess to my terrible sin....that I have been influenced by the Thread Morons great achievement to "lock in" "key posts..... as in Post # 1000.... So what happened, (coincidentally I may add), as I was getting ready to watch the pre-game, I noticed that we were sitting at post # 998... I was going to answer your post, but that would only give me # 999... So quickly, (fortunately for me SI is finally working as it used to in the past, much faster than in the last two weeks).... I opened two windows, and responded to Goldfinger's post, and yours.... with the intent of going back and editing the same..... which I did. The first think hat came to my mind in order to lock the posts, was the "penalty shoot-outs" (which I do believe is an American expression), either that..... or I just made it up.... except, in my haste, and speed, I only typed.... "shoot-outs", left out the word Penalty....and never reviewed that part of the posts. Until you brought it up, by which time, it was too late to change... Then again !.... I could claim that I am requesting that "no shoot-out" [due to some crazy fanimal], take place.... Fortunately for me, in my religion, I am a member of the Security Council, therefore I have absolute powers to VETO, any and all hellish sins, which the above would qualify.... so it has been erased from my sinful record already..... (I should add that I have a perfect [sinless] record).... So anyway, what I meant is NO PENALTY KICKS...... please !! Loki's anti-establishment sentiment would have made him the ideal immigrant to the USA. I agree wholeheartedly....... ...you are a referee,.... Man, oh man.... that is the worst flame I have ever received in my entire life....... Now I am depressed.... and will probably turned into some kind of Klaus Klaun, or something..... buuu huuuuuu.... snuf, snif..... Vence Brasil !!
