Jacob,
I'm new to this group and am interested as to what your LEAP strategy will be once AMAT has built a base....I probably won't jump in until at least 98 4Q anyway.

Thanks,

Cereberus

re: "When will it hit its low ?" (one more thought)

7. The stock price will not be determined by people who think the way us threaders do. The stock price will be controlled by the actions of Fidelity Select Electronic's mutual fund manager (whoever it is this month), and people like him. He doesn't act the way I do, because he gets rewarded and punished differently. If both of us think the stock will probably triple in the next 3 years, but might do nothing for the next 3 months, then I'll buy and he won't. My wife won't fire me and hire someone else to manage our portfolio. I know this because I first bought AMAT (and made it our largest holding) in February 1996. 6 months later, my wife's only comment was, "Gee, it looks like we don't have enough to retire yet."
