re: "WOULD NOT THAT BE S.O.L. FOR ALL"

No, it wouldn't. I am 110% certain that any rally this month will be a false rally. If AMAT goes to 33, then I'll pick whichever stock in the group has gone up the most, and short it. Yes, it could happen. Look at how many times this year Mr. Market has given us a chance to get out of long positions (or short) at 38-40.

Japan's P.M to resign. I think this news

dailynews.yahoo.com

Will push the stock down. So the opening price is much lower.

The panic will be short lived...

My experience with the market tells me that AMAT will open around 3 points down tomorrow and recover to about half of that. Look at what happened to Bay Networks after quarter one results. They closed around 24 the day before their disastrous earnings, far worse that what AMAT has warned of. They opened the next day down around 2 points and closed down around 1. Within 3-4 weeks, they were back in the low 30's. This was all PRE-BUYOUT. There is a lot of money to be made tomorrow if you buy after the first 30 minutes of trading. This is just a hunch, but I'm going to try it.
