Hi Dave, 1) What is YOUR motive individually and as a group with Janice, CatLady, Kerry, etc.? I cannot answer for any of the others but my motives are that: a) I enjoy posting and expressing my opinion; b) I have recently retired as a DBA/computer programmer; c) I have excess time on my hands; d) I consider myself to be an excellent stock researcher; e) I consider myself to be reasonably intelligent; f) I enjoy helping and educating others on a proper way to do DD; g) I am the Treasurer of an NAIC investment club, and SI helps me find good and bad stocks to review for the club. 2) Are you paid by anyone for posting here on SI? I am not paid by anyone here at SI. I have never met anyone from SI. I have never received correspondence from anyone at SI. I have written only to Jill the webmistress for the free t-shirt offer, and to Jeff Dryer regarding what I considered to be a poor legal position for them. Jeff has not responded to my PM, and the message had nothing to do with anything or anybody on this thread, or any of the stocks the people on this thread are involved with. 3) Are you or any of your group employed by SI, any Market Makers, or any other organization? To the best of my knowledge, for the others named in your post, the answer is a resounding no. For me personally, it's a very resounding no. 4) Why did you guys dream up and implement the hoax on the mythical company FBN? I was not on SI when the FBN concept was born. I read about it in the Double Zero thread, forgot about it, and then came back to it through my involvement on the Thread Morons thread. As for its' intent, the purpose was primarily an April Fool's joke, but beneath that was the realization of how easy it is to hype and "fleece" those posters who spout "good DD" over all the threads, only to be exposed as having recommended an April Fool's joke stock as a good investment. This is why you see so many negative comments regarding FBN. Those who bit, "hook, line & sinker" were plenty POed about their lack of good DD receiving plenty of exposure on many of the "real" threads. Anyone with common sense realized it was a joke from day one. KJC

Dave, I'll repeat my statement initially made on the CCSI thread: Anyone who takes my posts about "Short Sellers Inc" is using an addled mind with which to reason. I'll go further, and to say the same for anyone who believes there is an organized conspiracy against them. If you really believe what you claim, and really believe the people who are out to get you have the power that you assign them, I'd advise you to get out of the stock market, or at least stick with mutual funds. If what you claim were true, the playing field is so skewed as to make the attempt to invest in individual stocks pointless. I would appreciate it if you would post or PM to me the names and contact phone numbers of those who pay people to post on SI. I don't currently receive pay for posting, but would definitely love it.
