COOL..we are getting somewhere now... one last thing. MY QUESTION: Didn't Byron (rocketeer1) stick with DGIV for weeks with great loyalty? I mean it wasn't like he did a 10 minute pump and dump like Tmex used or still does. YOUR RESPONSE: He's made it clear in numerous posts that he knows less than nothing about how financial markets work. He actually once said that a wide b/a spread indicated strong interest in a stock, as potential investors were being asked to pay a premium. MY COMMENT: Not to stick up for Byron at all, but just as an education to others, it is true that MM's ofter widen the Bid/ASK spread to SLOW DOWN buying. This may have been what he is referring to. When lots of buying comes into a stock, 9 times out of 10 the MM's gt themsleves in a little trouble as their average price they sell the stock at gets higher and higher. Often they try a trick to slow down buying by widening the B/A, then walking down the bid on low volume of sells. This often results in some who bought on the run to unload their shares and enables the mm's to pick up some cheaper stock to cover and make a few buck.
