Kathy,

I wasn't concerned with competition, more with the reaction of Brad's Ratman, if this discussed fix is adopted. Someone, somewhere, will claim privacy problems at the desktop, and I wanted to point out legal privacy protections would still apply there.

I also welcome you back. I found your comments from several months ago both informative and encouraging.

As for privacy concerns, I think those will always be with us in one form or another no matter which way the technology goes - people are just always going to be suspicious.
