Mexican exploration progress Aurado Exploration Ltd AEO Shares issued 39,343,610 Jul 28 close $0.13 Thu 30 Jul 98 News Release Mr. John Pollock reports The company has released an exploration update on the Aurado-Cominco Mexico joint venture properties in Zacatecas and San Louis Potosi States, Mexico. An IP anomaly has been identified crossing the Piedrotas property in a NW/SE direction that measures 500m wide at a depth of 250m. ATM soundings have been completed on the southeast part of the Gabriela property to determine the depth of cretaceous volcanic units and to verify overburden depths determined by the gravity survey. The mafic volcanic units vary between 100 and 250 metres from the surface in the southeast corner of the claim block. Profile gravity surveys and reconnaissance mapping have shown that cretaceous volcanic units are close to surface on parts of the Carmen, Amapola, El Sauz, Belcebu and Garabato claim blocks. Progress on defining drill targets continues to be encouraging. To date, diamond drilling targets have been identified on the Gabriela, Piedrotas and Venaditas properties. Additional IP and reconnaissance work are planned for all properties and diamond drilling is now planned for the fall after additional targets have been delineated.
