<OT> Jack, You mean like the slabs from the saw mill. The slabs off the outside of the log? 24 inches wide would be about 6 inches thick or os if that's what you mean. Hhmm....I know a few mills that saw oak, but 24 inches is pretty wide. That would take at least a 3 foot log to yield a slab that wide. If that's what you mean, I'll make a few calls and see if they are available. Or do you mean cants, 1 1/2 inches thick with bark left on the outter edges, sawn on both sides? Jim J
