Few things tickle the ear so much as the offer of a free ride. The idea that all God requires for eternal salvation is a simple confession of faith in Jesus is alien to scripture. A life of obedient service to God is necessary, with application of Christ's words:

"Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself."

"By their fruits ye shall know them. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but the corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. ... Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down and cast into the fire. Therefore by their FRUITS ye shall know them.

"Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father who is in heaven.

Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy by thy name, and by thy name cast out demons, and by thy name do many might works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me ye that work iniquity." Matthew 7, SERMON ON THE MOUNT

"I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also ... If a man love me he will keep my word: and my Father will love him ... he that loveth me not keepeth not my words." John 14

"But as for the fearful, and unbelieving, and abominable, and murderers, [OJ?] and fornicators, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, their part shall be in the lake that burneth with fire and brimstone; which is the SECOND DEATH" Rev 21:8

Repentance, conversion, belief and salvation require a lifelong Walk with Christ: Colossians 2:6-7

First of all, let's get some distinctions out of the way. For the most part, the Jews living in Israel today are not Christian. They might be some day, but there not today. So Emile takes the hard line approach, they lead many estray, just like any other non-Christian religion. Hence, they are damning people to hell. Do you agree with this?

That being said, my opinion, substantiated by the bible, is that the Jews will one day turn to their Messiah Jesus. I think God tells us this in the bible.

I do not condone anti-semitism, I am Jewish and suffer much from it as well. And I understand the major problems you have had with it, in regards to you and your family. I am very sorry for that! But I don't think Emile is going out shooting Jews.

I think he is just letting you know he does not appreciate Modern Day Israel leading masses astray, as any other religion.

As far as his anti-semitism, you must be the judge of that, and what you want to do with it. I too, feel sometimes, he says things that are improper about the Jews. But I think he just might be coming off the wrong way, and not as anti-semitic as he sometimes sounds.

But he is a Christian. And sometimes because he might sound anti-semitic, that gives us no right to condemn him, God and Emile will have there time to talk about it someday.

But I understand your concerns about anti-semitism. And I understand your need to try to stop some of it if you can. But remember, Emile is a brother in Christ, a sinner, like you and me. We all have flaws. That's what we need God for!

God Bless You and Your Family,
Steve
