anytime I have called to ask a question, I have waited up to 20 minutes for a human! anybody that will wait 20 min on hold REALLY wants to talk.....Their bid and ask price is just that! bid is your sell price, and ask is the price you pay to buy.....ie stock is trading steadily at say 10 3/8 over and over....you would normally say you can buy at 10 3/8!!! not so! the ask will be above that probably 10 7/16...so you give up the 1/16 plus commission...so the nasdaq price of 19.95 is a joke...it is 19.95 plus 1/16th of your trade, same thing on the sale......so It drives me crazy!!!!but as I say it is no better anywhere else if so enlighten me, and I will check it out.......they do not even use a gun, or kiss you when it is over...and they never call me...grin.... The old broker credo...we will buy for you, we will sell for you, but we will not cry for you!!!!hahahahahahahahahahaha....I never notice if I am up a couple of points but I do know when I am being ripped!!!!and I do not like it!!! I do it but do not like it!!!!!
