Trial Members & Our Beloved SI or Gino is on Trial, So I won't complain. This thread, indeed, no SI thread, should be a place where you are threatened. Intimidation can be accomplished by threatening your real world. I gave Mr. Gambino the benefit of the doubt. I posted a flame message (punk-ass MM would say <g>)which contained only a small element of humour (oops), I also posted a link to it in the Flame thread. My purpose was twofold. I want Mr. Gambino to know that this is not something that is taken lightly. I also want Mr. Gambino to pay his money, join SI and become a regular contributor, this will be unlikely if he feels his freedom to say things is constrained, which could happen if I whined to Admin about his post. By posting a link to the Flame Thread I made a statement generally about all posts of this type. You did read the link to the SI-Admin post, it is serious. It is very bad for SI to have this type of activity on any thread. The fact that a poster like chuck thinks that SI Admin is trying to stifle a bit of fun, shows how off base people can be while still sounding reasonable. It isn't fun, or funny. I am not you wayne, I can only empathize and ask you to do the same. If you were me, would you take threats lightly ? Many things are acceptable in this place, you get back what you put out. If you read this thread, any thread, then you know it is possible that Mr. Gambino is just a fictional poster, it is also possible that he is real, either way, he makes a perfect tool for demonstrating that this is not YAHOO. I will always respond this way to things that threaten SI. This is our home, and we don't need to see it threatened by an environment which is conducive to intimidation. We don't need threats, vague, veiled or otherwise. Our Beloved SI
