Yes these were all a case of exercising options and selling. I just hope they were prudently taking some profits and nothing Geac related. Also, heard last night on the radio the fund manager from Altimira stating they had got rid of most of their Geac but were looking at it again at these prices (no aggressive buying yet though).

thought i'd share my two cents on these trades. i remember reading about both insiders selling (drury and scott). they both were reported in the toronto papers approx. 3 to 4 months ago - i think they both got out around $60. the only insider who has sold recently that i am aware of is sadler. last year's proxy indicates that scott HAD 53000 shares (pre split) and 140,000 options (pre split). who knows how many options he was granted subsequent to the end of 1997! fyi - sadler HAD 307698 shares (pre split) and 530,000 options (pre split). likewise for sadler, who knows how many options he was granted subsequent to the end of 1997!! at the time of publication of the proxy circular, 174,000 of the options were exercisable (pre split). i wish i had kept track of the total number shares and options that sadler has sold this year to see what percentage of the total number he COULD sell was!!! anyone know? i don't remember seeing a notice of bill nelson selling. he had 45,000 shares (pre split) and 370,000 options (pre split), plus whatever he was granted in the last year.
