Batgirl: Search SI for TSIS and look at the other thread which has a lot of info for your DD. TSIS is NOT "basically another financial website".

Short answer is that they are certainly not just another financial web-site. They are (my words) a service company specializing in delivery of customized information via interactive voice response. Think of any application which can use a touch tone telephone as an input device and you've got an idea of the scope of possibilities. The first application they commercialized was the storage (in digital form) and playback of information on their client companies, which was accessed by callers keying in desired information on the phone pad. Other applications might include "customer keys in ZIP code and receives location of nearest store" or making bank transfers using your telephone or credit card authorization and clearing services for small merchants who don't want to go to the expense of leasing a credit card terminal or.... In other words, TSIS is very much different from "a financial web site." I don't have the demo phone number right at hand, but you can find it within the previous 100 posts here or maybe someone else will post it for you. Best thing, however, is to call the company and get them to FAX you their investor kit. And, after doing that, review this message board from Feb 1st onward. Happy Due Diligence. JSb.
