I came late to the SAP situation, picked up about 400 shares over the last two months, and am even at the moment. You may laugh at this, Ibexx, but while you buying SAP 50 or so, I was buying Dell at 12.(Hey, if you look back in the market, you will die of remorse!)
I Bought SAP because this company is a "Gorilla" that is really an unknown in this country. At its present PE's, It looks to our financial writers to be fully valued. They don't understand the monopoly power that this company has. Its growth will continue to outstrip all of their predictions. The best way to understand this is to read a new book, called the "Gorilla Game". This book caused me to narrow my portfolio to the "Gorillas", Cisco, Microsoft, and SAP. and the "Kings", Dell, AOL, and Lucent.
I believe that those of you who were smart enough to find the board will profit by reading the book. As good as this year has been for me, this book made it even better!
