I certainly cannot argue with his policy. One only has to look at Korea to see what havoc can occur to a country dependent on exports.

Infrastructure is needed in China, so these are hardly "WPA"
type projects.

The key to long-term success is, IMO, instilling "pride of ownership"
in a lot of people who have never owned anything because the State
owned everything. (From what I have been told the feeling is even more
complete than how we feel on April 15th. <bg>).
