Flint, the summarized studies have read in IBD came down to is this...over the last 20 years growth stocks have outperformed value stocks by a couple of percentage points. But over the last 40 years, value stocks have outperformed growth stocks. One issue they brought up in the article though is that 25 years ago, there were very few classical pure growth stocks to choose. So the arguments were left open for interpretation and more data collection. Michael
