I bought a can, but am hesitant to open it.

Interesting... what are you afraid of?

Taxi, I like my peanuts salted. Don't eat too many of the boiled variety in one sitting or you will regret it...........

Looks like the market has decided the Japanese election to be positive.

Way OT <<have you ever had boiled peanuts?>>

Had some roommates from Texas in college, who brought home a can or two. Soggy and chewy best describes them. I think you have to grow up with them to appreciate them. Never had the boiled pecans, but offhand I'd say pralines are a much better use for pecans.

<<btw.. i was in your state. they have canned boiled peanuts and pecans for sale @
every hiway exit.
have you ever had boiled peanuts?>>

You drove a taxi all the way down here for boiled peanuts? Boiled peanuts are great!! Too bad you bought the canned ones, though. There's plents of places along the side of the road you can get 'em fresh-boiled, served with your choice of spices in a brown paper bag! Them's good goobers, boy! Talkin' from a South Carolina perspective. Don't know about the trash they might sell in Georgia<g>.
