Morning Folks ~ Interesting weekend, eh? I was in a seminar all weekend and couldn't keep up with the pace on the thread. I find it interesting that certain persons spoke up to defend themselves when in fact they weren't named. One person in particular appears to hold out a prayer that it wasn't the REAL Frank Peters that posted. It was. That much I have been able to confirm. Vic, it's funny that you mentioned 'class-action'. A couple of weeks ago I was talking with a representative from Franklin and requested that if they were to take legal action against persons that trashed the company for their own gain, would Franklin be willing to release the names and other pertinent information for a possible class action suit from the shareholders. Personally, I feel that the stock has been manipulated by unfounded comments on this board. Anytime someone sticks their hand in my pocket I become willing to make an effort that it doesn't happen again. The irresponsible nature of some of the posts made will prevent these persons from hiding behind the thin veil of 'freedom of speech'. I have the freedom of driving my car only if I do it responsibly. I have the freedom to drink as long as I do it responsibly. If I were to combine the two I would lose that freedom. I think the company's stance is the correct one. People have to be held responsible. All destroyers are ultimately destroyed. I very much appreciate the work that is being done at Franklin. I say 'appreciate' as in gratitude. I'm sure there is no way that I can 'appreciate' (as in 'realize') the actual work that is being done. I also appreciate and salute Frank for putting his own money where his mouth is. I'm sure he doesn't need anymore shares and it is good to see him step up to the plate. I certainly hope that the persons that have are held accountable are NOT good-looking. The one place you don't want to be good-looking is in the slammer. ~ Jack
