There is no good reason to buy out Pure at this time. Ashton is in control now, as project operators. AEC will continue to be relatively stand-backish, which is typical of other similar western, gov't JV's. I haven't heard of any strong disagreements, which is often a cause for buying out partners.
There is a significant difference in management and corporate styles, but Ashton retains effective control, which is the best for all. Whether Pure stays in or departs from this JV is not important. Ashton's objectives will still be achieved.
