Okey, Zeev. I admit that after you fired your first volley over HEC's bow, at one point I asked you for additional information. In fact, at your post #3180, you asked me specifically what questions of mine had not been answered.
Zeev, I responded to you but, alas, you did not respond back to me. This is unfortunate (or fortunate, depending upon one's own viewpoint), but the fact remains, a direct response to me has NOT been forthcoming, at least to my satisfaction. I hasten to add that I have not made any accusations of your parentage, basic intelligence, innate mental prowess and stability or anything akin to what you suggest at least one poster here has made. Zeev, I truly believe that I have made a reasonable attempt to be courteous and respectful to you.
Frankly, Zeev, based upon the enlightening input of a number of posters, including you, on both this thread and the Yahoo one, I must admit that I have already come to my conclusion on this issue and agree with the consensus here that we are beating (floorless) a dead horse. Re the suggestion of taking the issue to another thread, if you and others are willing, I believe that is where this issue needs to be going forward.
Now, Zeev, with all the above said, I would like to suggest that it appears to this poster that your motives in initiating this controversy (it should be noted that you have never disputed initiating the floorless issue when you were reminded of your post to Paul), may, and I emphasize MAY, need some clarification as a result of your own actions.
To wit, if your decisions to initiate this controversy were as altruistic as you have implied, WHY, on a "back channel" have you posted the below statements (especially #8) since you originally posted what you did here. Wasn't the issue still under discussion at this time.
What is it, Zeev? Sloppy research, as one poster has suggested? Ulterior motives, as another poster has suggested? Just for fun? WHY, Zeev? Inquiring minds want to know...
Cordially, Gator II

Where is all the excitement? By the way, HEC has $50 MM of floorless, are you shorting it?
Zeev ----------------------- To: Roger A. Babb (7 ) From: Zeev Hed Saturday, Jul 11 1998 11:42AM ET Reply # 8 of 11 Roger, look at the chart of HEC, it looks like a "broken stock". They are fighting for their life at the Maginot line at $4.5, if it breaches look out well below. To get where they want to go, HEC claims they will need more than a billion bucks, I think the number of their shares is going to multiply like rabbits and they will rapidly approach the top limit of 225 MM shares (they are now at 130 MM and counting).

Normally for small retail accounts, no (it is no longer marginable with most brokers when under $5/share), but larger accounts do not have such limitations. It is a question of the quality of your collaterals.
