MH----- THE DEFINITION OF A BULL MARKET IS THAT IT DICOUNTS BAD NEWS... THAT IS IT'S STRENGTH, AND THIS IS A VERY STRONG BULL INDEED. BUT THE NEW REGIME IN JAPAN IS LIKELY TO FACE UP TO THE LOAN CRISIS, AND WHEN IT DOES IT'S TRUE SIZE WILL BECOME PLAIN... AND IT WILL LOOK DAUNTING... AND BEFORE THINGS GET BETTER THEY WILL SURELY GET WORSE... PERSONALLY I THINK AMAT TRADES AROUND HERE UNTIL THE EARNING, WHICH THEY WILL BEAT BY A PENNY, AND THEN FALL AWAY WHEN THE MARKET REALIZES THAT 1999 IS GOING TO BE ONLY MARGINALLY PROFITABLE, AND THAT THE NEXT TWO Q'S AMAT WILL MAKE LOSSES.... JUST ONE MAN'S OPINION ON SPORT.... SORRY ABOUT THE CAPS... JUST LOOOKED UP AND SAW THE CAP LOCK.... ON

MH,
Rome wasn't built in a day, neither will Japan's/Asia's economic
crisis. False optimism, IMHO.
