I went and visited Capi's and Sabatinis. Went to Sabatinis first which was located at 8177 W. Glades Road Boca Raton. For those of you who don't live in florida. Boca is a nice mostly upper middle class area located on the east coast of florida north of Ft. Lauderdale. Sabatini's is located just off of the Florida Turnpike. It is in a L shaped plaza with both sides of the L about the same length. The plaza I would rate about a B by Boca standards. Nice, but not real nice. Inside of Sabatinis it is a rectangle shape about 90 foot by 65 foot. It is a market/small grocery store, not really a deli. They have chairs and tables out front but I wouldn't think many people would eat there. I wouldn't think many people walking by would just walk in and eat. You would go there mainly to get fresh seafood or meat and buy some groceries. They appeared to have been there for some time, not a new business. They seemed to have ample room for all there foods. Didn't appear to need more space. There were I think 4 friendly qualified employees. It was about 3:30 p.m. on Sunday when I was there and about 3 other customers. Across the street is Pete Rose's Ball Park Cafe, a Holiday Inn, Marshalls, Checkers, Service Merchandise ETC. Within the same plaza there are the following. Florist, a eat in Domino's, Joy Luck Chinese restaurant, Travel center, Hair Salon, Dry cleaners, Stuarts sports store, Nationwide Insurance, matriss city, star of David, chiropracter, Dentist, shoe store, golf store, clothes store, novelty store, optician. Right next to the plaza is a Office Depot, Petcare clinic and a party city store. Capis is located at 11379 C W. Palmetto Park Boca Raton. It is in a straight line shaped plaza. I would rate the plaza a C- by Boca Standards. Older plaza needing some fixing as in the shingles looked a bit ragged in places and it appeared to maybe need a pressure cleaning. Capi's is smaller. A square shape about 45 foot by 45 foot also a small market/grocery store with Fresh seafood and fresh cut meat also. Not a deli like subway. You wouldn't sit down and eat here. It appeared to be well established and appeared to have been there for quite some time. There were 5 friendly helper workers and about 10 people in the store made up by 2 to 3 families. This was about 4:15 in the afternoon on Sunday. The only construction I saw was a Wendy's seperate building being built next to the plaza. There was a huge open field on one side of the plaza that had a sign on it saying private park. In the plaza was a Hardware store, a successful pub right next to capi's with about 60 people in it watching the soccer match. real estate office, lil rascals, family health center, video store, salon, nails, progressive ins., dry cleaners, animal hospital, 2 vacancy 1 of which appeared to be from a grocery store like winn dixie, florist, dairy queen, cramic, italian restaurant, little post office, dentist, nautilus fitness, subway, hot bagels, karate, small community church all these were within this plaza. A day care center was around the corner, and a chevron is close by. This is what I saw. If anyone has any questions please ask. I have to step out of the office but will be back in a couple of hours.
