(DOW JONES) DJN: Harvest Restaurant, TRC Acquisition In Definite Merger DJN: Harvest Restaurant, TRC Acquisition In Definite Merger Pact SAN ANTONIO (Dow Jones)--Harvest Restaurant Group Inc. (ROTI) signed a definitive share exchange agreement to merge with TRC Acquisition Corp., the operator of Tanner's casual dining restaurants in Georgia and Alabama. In a press release Monday, Harvest said it received a commitment from an investor group for $6 million of equity funding, $4 million of which was deposited in escrow. As reported, the companies signed a letter of intent to merge in early June. Clyde E. Culp was named chief executive and chairman of the merged company. Culp previously was president and chief executive of Long John Silver's, president and chief executive of Embassy Suites and chairman-founder of Davco Foods Inc.
