only approximately 14% of TMAR's work is associated with shallow water oil work, the remaining shallow water work is gas related - about 28% (looking at past notes). all other work is deep water oil and gas work. some one's looking for any reason to short/sell this stock and other oil stocks so it appears.

even in a worst case scenario you're not going to have all shallow water oil rigs shut down at the same time (what, at most 20% of the total, or only about 3% of TMAR's total?). especially in the case of the gulf where a significant percentage goes to Mexico to feed its sovereign debt.
