Yes, it is. The article explains what many who are familiar with the actualities of web service merchandising have known for some time. The bottom line to the Inet is can you afford the price to acquire a customer and is that customer loyalty enough to offset the price of acquisition and eventually turn a profit. In Zap's case if you look at their main pages of their portal it is apparent that they wish to engage themselves in low cost, high volume products i.e books, music and online magazines. It is a good place to start. Whether they can generate continued customer loyalty will remain to be seen.
