With Java, we're talking about TCP/IP computing -- something
Windows and DCOM will never be able to do.'

LOL. This industry excecutive is obviously very confused. COM is
MSFT's binary object technology, DCOM is an addition to COM which
enables remote (intermachine) communication between objects. TCP/IP
is a network transport protocol. DCOM is transport neutral.

Look ma, look pa, I'm TCP/IP computing with my Windows machine right
now!
