PC's are going the way of the calculator. Finished goods prices as well as components will continue to drop, IMO. Anybody checked the price of a transistor lately? Time will tell, but I say DRAM is loser business worth about 8 to 10x last yr's POSITIVE earnings. Nothing more. Would you pay 30x next year's earnings (1 analyst has the estimate) for a tire co. (even though every other analyst and your brain syas the co will lose money) Would you base your decision on the growth in tire sales that has occured over the last 80 years? Would you have paid such a premium in 1929 when cars were just getting popular and widely accepted as transportation and the sky seemed the limit for sales of this great new product?--- maybe in '29, but you sure didn't by 1930 and never did from there after.
