<<I see yo are doing some cheer leading on the ZAP thread. How is it like to be on the other side? -g->>
I saw it as a no-brain play, since their break-up assets were $17/share. Plan is: (i) they sign the papers very soon - $25 (ii) they redesign/upgrade web pages within few weeks - $37 to 45; (iii) they do real business - takes time - between $4 and $400. Note first two don't require much of anything.
<<DAQ 100 is over your target of 1400 and the composite is near my target of 2k. At current rate, today's volume on Daq should be close to 950 mil. An excellent day to leave many guys holding the bag. What do you say?>>
Small correction - my target was 1400 - 1450 on NDX, but OEX is more important, as an indicator now, I think, more important than DIJA even.
I estimate volume as X5 of that at 10:40, and ~ X2 of that at 12:30, so today it will be less, near 800M.
<<PS: did you notice that there appears to be some "desperate" attempt to keep the DOW above 9100. Up 10 over and then down 5 under 9100. Looks like it has been the case fo rmost of the mornign session.>>
This week is a perspiration week, so there may be efforts to keep things at some strike prices.

As to Dow, there is a big selloff in integrated oils, would seem suckers are selling off XON and CHV to load up on SOFT and CSCO at the top - would be fun to watch.

MoMo, I think we need to be careful about the Myth or any other stuff at this point. The resolution of this Hashish smoken bugger that is the PM of Nippon, or one of those countries we couldn't find on a globe if our lives depended upon it, needs to shake out. -g-

BTW, why do youse guys keep referring to the daq? To keep the undereducated from looking up the symbol? Or to differentiate against the 100 index (which should be done as exampled by the S&P top 50)?

Regards, DWW
