Charlie, VLSI was strong this morning before the SOX rallied so I think the move is more related to the stock than the sector. The daily, weekly and monthly charts all look very good to me and the call volume is much higher than the put volume again today. It seems to me that options traders are speculating that something is up. This could be a fake out but I doubt it given the way the stock has been trading recently. My guess is that they will either beat the earnings estimate on Wednesday, have positive things to say about the future, or make an announcement regarding an acquisition. Resistance is now at 19 1/2 on the daily chart and 21 on the weekly chart. Dan
