Larry,

Oil, disk drives, airline industry and other commodity sectors have commodities that may be used as an analogy with the DRAM industry. But when you get into too much details of the individual sector problems one begins to lose the usefulness of studying it as an "analogy". We already went to far with oil and tires.

The "forever bears" on this thread are already totally confused lets not make them into Linda Blair types, afterall we desperately need them to cover all their short positions that are still outstanding. That should bring MU up another 10 or 20%.<g>

The DRAM business is still undergoing changes with the purging of the weak hands and the further strengthening of the others as the products are undergoing technological changes. My contention is that MU is not the same company it was two months ago and its products will not be the same next year as they are this year.
