I try not to gloat when NTAP rises, nor to fret when it falls. What is important, for the long-term investor, is how the business grows, not how the stock moves in the short run. Eventually, real value will be reflected, I expect, in the stock price.

If Netapp grows its business as I expect, the stock will inevitably follow.

(That almost sounds like I am rationalizing a sudden decline, rather than a sudden rise, doesn't it?)
