You are starting to catch on.
It takes 8-10 weeks build a chip, most chips are in that time frame from what I understand.

Who does intel deliver to when demand forces them into an allocation mode.
Why is intc on allocation ?
because they did not start enough wafers.
Why ?
No order visibility, and they want that back.
