Do you follow the Insider Trader list?

After CD fell to around $17 today I checked it out on the Insider Trader list and found only 30K shares bought since March, and many million shares sold.

JD put me in CD at $25

I suppose I need to become competent like you are, but I am competent in other things, and I Thought I had hired JD to guide me in this stock game. Maybe his managed portfolio service would be safer??

I also got mail from GFCHX today with a prediction that we can expect support for Hang Seng around the 6500 level. That was alarming.

You asked if I had considered some financial etc. stocks. Yes, I have dumped most of my losers, and picked up ESF, STD, CD and NVTSY. We will see what happens.

Daniel,
Outta curiosity, how long have you been with JD?
My frustration with JD is that double checking his advice is very difficult.
The promotional literature I got said JD was doing all the due diligence; my JD introductory package waffled between 'trust me' and 'caveat emptor' when it came to doing due diligence.
I got the newsletter thinking I would learn about picking international stocks. In this I have been disappointed, but then JD never promised me I'd learn about picking international stocks.:-)
I find it very hard to research his picks. A lot of his stocks aren't covered by other analysts. My method of doing due diligence is to look up the stock here on SI, in S&P, or in Value Line. If it isn't there, then I'm SOL. That explains why I am in, for example, SEW, RP, AND HKT but not SME, CPPKY, or NVTSY.
If you do your own research you must have more comprehensive sources than this.
Would you please share your information sources with us?

Thank you for taking the time to respond to us 'newbies'.

Daniel,
Did you buy CD when John recently recommended it?
How many other loyal fans bought in? I should have
held off, but I trusted one more time, hopefully the
last time. I put in a limit order and got in at $18.75.
while it was falling. I'm just another sheep, in for
the slaughter. I'll learn yet, they say it's never too
late.
P.S. Some insider sold 1 million shares yesterday
early morning one hour before the rumors started and one
day before the news came out on fraud.
THAT IS INSIDER TRADING AND IT'S ILLEGAL. He got out at
$20 or $22 knowing what the rest of us did not. Who's
going to investigate that?
