DLJ..an earnings play is on a very strong uptrend and was for at least 4 periods.. AVEI still in a strong uptrend. HBOC, was a play for a few days but was down on the earnings report. This is why I advocate watching these earnings plays for about 7 days before they report. You can 'hop' on the *anticipatory upswing*, get your profit and be gone before it becomes OVERBOUGHT. MER reports tomorrow and is also up, but can be overbought possibly.
