"According to this comment, anyone who does not believe in Jesus(most ofthe world) should not make comments aobut him or discuss him. That is an unreasonable expectation." There is a certain transparency to your philosophy when your emotions are stirred! It is not a matter of the Rabbis and leaders of Judaism having the right to speak their minds about Jesus. I, and I am sure Steve and all other Christians on this thread, support freedom of speech. This discussion is not about freedom of speech but about the core beliefs of modern Judaism and Rabbis. Modern Judaism denies that Jesus is the Son of God and they transmit this knowledge against Jesus to their congregation. You are trying to deny this obvious fact. This is why most Jews believe that: "You cannot believe in Jesus and still be a Jew." This is the subtle reality of the teachings of Modern Talmudic Judaism. My wifes parents were raised as Orthodox Jews and later joined a Reformed congreagation. My wife attended several different Synagogues. During her Bah Mitzvah instructions, a Reformed Rabbi told her and her classmates that Jews often say that Jesus was a prophet but that Judaism really did not believe this and they should do the same.. My wife also told me that she had heard of the Talmud but really didn't know what was in it until she and I read it years later. This does not change the facts about Rabbinical formation in rabbinical schools. The denial of Jesus is the cornerstone of modern Judaism. If modern Judaism accepted the teachings of Moses and the Prophets, then they would accept Christ and become Christians. Modern Judaism is based on opposition to Jesus and a reinterpretation of the Old Testament called the Talmud. The rejection of Jesus and the reinterpretation of the Old T. is the foundation of the Cult of Modern Judaism. Modern Judaism is a cult because it mimicks Old Test. Temple Judaism with its terminology and rituals but denies the core beliefs and prophecies of Old Test. Judaism. Old TEst. Judaism accepted the entire Old Test. as inspired---the Torah plus the Prophets and Psalms, Proverbs, etc. Modern Judaism does not. Old Test. Judaism has the Shekinah Glory ---the Holy Spirit---, modern Judaism does not. Old Test. Judaism had a system of blood sacrifices for the sins of the people, modern Judaism does not. Old TEst. Temple Judaism hasda Levitical and Aaronic priesthood, modern cutlitc Judaism does not. Old Test. temple Judaism had a Davidic and Levitical genealogy to establish its priests and civil leaders., modern cultic Judaism does not. The Christian Church established by the Lord Jesus through his Jewish Apostles and disciples contains all of these elements of Old Test. Judaism.
