James, this is a bit confusing. I spoke to the company after they reported they acquired it last time. Now they acquired it again?
Oh, oh.

Has anyone asked the company about the questions posed regarding Cottonwood? We have two different anouncements regarding the acquisition, nyc chris advises the most recent one should not be read as written but instead that they have acquired the other 20% of the company.

If that is the case, the company must correct that release.

The October, 1997 release states clearly that this is a done deal by using the past tense, acquired. Yet, no mention of it in the 10K. This would be considered significant news and must be included in the filing, unless...

The company needs to clear this up. It may be the cause for the market reaction to the news.

In the post I respond to here the company NCI is mentioned as a JV partner, We asked peanut back then about who NCI was, we were never informed. - Now at last I have found NCI, I think, Looking at where they are active makes me believe that it's the right one.
(Monterrey is mentioned - We remember Monterrey connected with some home construction ARET were supposed to be a part of)
This link is to the post I respond to:

This link is to FreeEDGAR profile of NCI:

I can imagine that Cottonwood are using profiles from NCI in the buildup of the SIP's ??!!??

Food for further DD regarding Cottonwood :-)
We still need to find Cottonwood, if we have any questions to ask them.
