Wow! I just came online and my investment in E*Trade is up over 40%. I'm a long-term buyer too Rory (I've owned it since Jan '97) but a move like today is a tempting sell opportunity. Nah... I think I'll hold anyway.

Good that you are taking a long-term view. Can't with options and I've been whipsawed too many times to just sit tight on a 500% gain. Perhaps I'll buy the stock on a pullback and forget about it for a couple years.
