David: If the submarine with the hole in it can make it to the dock, the train is waiting on the dock to pick up the submariners. So the submarine and train analogies are quite compatible. I think the real question is: Is the submarine with the hole in it in the middle of the Pacific, or is it 100 yards from the dock where the train awaits? We have to know the answer to that question.
